SRM Recruitment is a trusted specialist recruitment consultancy delivering on permanent and interim assignments in London, the South East and internationally.
We established SRM to counter the recruitment industry’s increasing focus on process rather than people. Our belief has always been to listen and collaborate with clients and candidates; building trust so you have confidence in our delivery.
Our aim is to offer a real recruitment service where each search is tailor-made to you and your requirements, using the most relevant candidate sourcing tools available.
Whereas the industry has become short term sales focused, our clients like that we take time to get to know them and their business. We offer a level of service that’s unmatched by the larger recruitment consultancies and is more akin to an executive search approach.
An experienced team
Andrew's career began in 1996, having previously spent four years with PWC as an Accountant. He has extensive experience sourcing for a multitude of businesses and organisations across the finance and accounting market place.
Having worked for two listed international recruitment agencies, a Director at both, he has opened multiple offices and launched numerous new brands.
He launched SRM with Stewart and Rory with a desire to be different, enjoying recruitment with the people involved, and setting the brand apart as a leading specialist recruiter across London and the South East.
Away from the office, he enjoys regular involvement with his young children’s sporting activities, the odd game of tennis and golf, and following the fortunes and failures of Welsh rugby.
Director - Executive Search
Stewart began recruiting qualified finance professionals in 2002. With an extensive finance network, he's the trusted advisor to some of the UK’s most prestigious businesses.
A graduate in Modern History from the University of London, Stewart began his career in finance recruitment working for two of the world’s leading FTSE listed recruitment consultancies, specialising in finance recruitment.
Stewart progressed quickly, leading and growing businesses whilst recruiting for some of the world’s leading brands and high-growth small to medium sized enterprises.
Outside the office he spends most of his spare time with his young family, generally loving life and occasionally venturing out onto the squash court.
Director - Tax
Rory started his recruitment career in 2007, developing an extensive network recruiting into specialist tax departments for global financial and commercial organisations. He has partnered with some of the industry's biggest names and leads SRM's Tax team.
Prior to working in the recruitment industry, Rory spent five years in the British Army serving in the Royal Green Jackets regiment as a reconnaissance specialist. His time in the Army took him all over the world including Iraq, Northern Ireland and Kosovo.
Outside of work he would describe himself as a (lapsed and very amateur!) ultra-marathoner, having competed in a number of cross country 100k races. In 2017 he completed a two day, double marathon in the beautiful but arid setting of the Atlas Mountains and Sahara Desert.
