Job Description
A leading independently owned provider of investment management, accountancy, tax, corporate and financial advisory services to private clients, corporates, professional practices, and non-profit organisations.
Purpose of role:
To provide full technical support to a private client team.
Key responsibilities:
Analysis
- Analysis support of private client market
- Structuring and collating research for team
- Collate periodic valuation reports
- Produce ad hoc reports and collate documentation for client meetings
- Liaise with external platforms
Administration
Deal with cash transfers and foreign exchange transactions for clients
Set up client orders in preparation for STP
- Collate and dispatch general documentation in the management of client affairs
- Create and maintain stock/client information on spreadsheets
- Assist in researching and resolving client queries
Compliance and Training
Ensure familiarity and compliance with FCA requirements
- Attend annual compliance briefing
Team Support
- Answer telephone
- Assist in drafting general correspondence
- Liaise with clients and their advisors
- Maintain client files
- Attend client meetings in an administrative capacity, where necessary
Candidate Profile
Education/Qualifications:
- A' levels or equivalent
- IOC qualification, Registered Rep or equivalents would be advantageous
Key Experience/Skills:
- Significant relevant experience in a similar role
- Strong Analytical skills - for investigating and researching problems
- High levels of numeracy
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- IT - clear understanding and ability to use; Reuters or equivalent, Excel, Email
- Compliance - broad knowledge of FCA regulations
