About the Role
The Business Support Team is part of the London Operations Department and is responsible for implementation of changes to operational processes arising from regulatory of business developments. The Team works closely with the Bespoke Fund Managers and other operational teams. Other teams within the Department cover asset transfers, settlements processing, corporate actions and income collection, reconciliations, client fee calculation and client reporting.
Analysis of implications on operational processes of regulatory changes or business developments
Implementation of necessary changes
Review of other teams' processes to identify where process improvements can be made
Support for other teams to introduce changes identified
Regulatory ISA reporting and Excess Reportable Income processing
The role is closely aligned with the Department's Client Data function, which is responsible for maintenance of client static data. You may be required to assist with that workload, depending on capacity and relative priority of ongoing project work.
Regulatory Responsibilities (Compliance/T&C)
Demonstrate an understanding of and compliance with regulatory framework relevant to the role, whilst practising effective risk management taking account of outcomes for clients
Accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work unsupervised at times
Team player willing to respond to varied requests
Previous experience of operational processes in wealth manager or private client asset management is a must
Good all round securities knowledge
