Job Description

A leading Asset Manager is currently recruiting within it's Investment Analyst team.

This role is responsible for supporting the Portfolio Manager and fund research team in the day-to-day reporting and servicing activities, as well as undertaking projects and research as directed. This individual will be involved in running, monitoring, and reporting on products and customised mandates as well as producing and screening client presentations the Investment Managers use at client update meetings. Projects undertaken will require involvement in analysis of internal and external data, and include the administration of various databases.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Running of various systems to generate reporting

Production of various weekly and monthly internal and external reports

Generating and checking of various product compliant exposure reports

Provide assistance with group peer checking

Ensure team work load is covered and deadlines are met

Design and maintain processes that focus on the critical data required for various client reporting requirements.

Binding of client reporting as and when required.

Undertake a range of projects, tasks and assignments, as directed by the senior members of the team and update various client and product specific presentations, ensuring the correct compliance and data sign offs are gained

Help collect, write, check and gain sign off for various commentary written by investment teams to be used in various reporting documents

Qualifications/Work Experience

Knowledge of financial markets and range of investment strategies, including alternatives.

Computer literate with knowledge of Windows NT and Microsoft suite of systems, with ability to become proficient with proprietary systems.

Proficient in PowerPoint.

Strong numerate and analytical skills using Microsoft excel.
