Job Description
Assisting the team in providing high quality, professional investment management services to private clients, pension funds, trusts and charities.
The team manages discretionary client money. The desk manages assets for individuals, families, pensions, trusts, offshore structures and charities. The role is to work within the team supporting a number of Investment Directors on the desk in a collaborative manner
Main Tasks:
- Give assistance and support to the Investment Directors
- Prepare proposals and assist with client sign-up process
- Liaise with Investment Managers/Admin/Settlement areas as necessary
- Ensure all activities/actions undertaken meet and comply with compliance standards
- Assist in the process of on-boarding clients transferring in from other firms
Role Specific Tasks:
- General administration duties to support the investment team as a whole
- Deal with queries from clients, accounts and solicitors etc
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and organisational requirements/ procedures at all times
- Distribute and respond, as appropriate, to incoming and outgoing correspondence and e-mails
- Support setting up new client details (input, commencement letters, KYC input)
- Attend and support client meetings as necessary, including meeting notes
- Maintain up-to-date Investment Admin and regulatory knowledge
- Prepare, check and distribute portfolio valuations and reports to clients
- Manage corporate actions
The successful candidate will need:
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to learn new systems
- Experience within a similar role is preferable
- Keen eagerness to engage with clients and offer high service levels

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have an interest in investment markets although formal qualifications are not a requirement. If candidates have a strong interest in obtaining the Investment Advice Diploma, this can be supported.
