Job Description

Our client is a global, award winning wealth management firm. Within their London office the are looking to expand the client services team with the following job:

Job Purpose:

  • Client Reporting Officer, working within the client reporting team to produce client tax packs and Monitor the CGIX system, with responsibility for managing exceptions and reconciliation issues from Avaloq
  • Support Head of client reporting in liaison with the business and other internal departments
  • Work with internal teams to facilitate CRS and FATCA reporting

Main Duties:

  • Managing the reconciliation between Avaloq and CGIX
  • Liaising with Operations teams offshore to fix mapping issues and agree treatment of corporate actions
  • Liaising with providers to solve issues with feeds as required
  • Working with Head of Client Reporting to improve processes, to achieve STP of CGT information between systems
  • Dealing with ad hoc queries from Front Office regarding tax packs
  • Producing ad hoc reports as requested by Front Office
  • Reviewing W8/W9 forms when received from clients, ensuring that the firm has valid documentation to support reduced withholding rates etc

Skills & Experience:

  • Good working knowledge of Excel/Word/Outlook
  • Experience with CGIX preferred
  • Understanding of compliance regulations affecting the role
  • Money Laundering
  • FCA Rules & Regulations
  • Good knowledge of corporate actions types and processing
  • Working understanding of CGT within investments preferable
  • High level of communication skills
  • Strong time management and ability to prioritise
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Approachable and able to multi-task, work to deadlines and operate in a pressurised environment
  • High level of accuracy/attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
